Caring for Your New Puppy or Kitten

Wellness Exams
During your pet’s wellness visits, our skilled veterinarians will conduct a thorough health examination. We’ll also go over important topics like spaying/neutering, proper nutrition, training, and socialization. Plus, this is the perfect time to ask any questions you may have about your pet’s care!
Vaccinations
Because puppies and kittens are more prone to infections and diseases, we create customized vaccination schedules to ensure they receive the right protection. Our approach considers their overall health, daily routine, and potential exposure risks.
Diagnostics
To keep your pet healthy, we’ll conduct tests to check for parasites and recommend the best prevention plan. For kittens, we strongly advise testing for feline leukemia and feline AIDS to ensure their well-being.
Spay/Neuter Procedure

Spaying or neutering is a highly recommended procedure for all pets. Not only does it prevent unwanted pregnancies, but it also reduces the risk of certain cancers and other health concerns.

This routine procedure is safe, and your pet will be under general anesthesia the entire time. Recovery is quick, with only mild discomfort for a few days before your pet is back to their usual self—without any changes to their personality or overall health.

If you have any questions about when to schedule this procedure (earlier is often better), feel free to reach out. We’re happy to provide guidance and support!

Microchip Identification

We never want your pet to find themselves away from their forever home.

Microchips provide your pet with a unique identity that will last a lifetime. This permanent form of identification is painlessly implanted beneath your pet’s skin much like a vaccination. About the size of a grain of rice, a tiny microchip holds your contact information, protecting the special bond between you and your forever friend. Losing your pet is scary, but microchips make a reunion more possible.

We highly recommend all pets be microchipped as a permanent form of identification, even indoor pets!
