At your pet’s wellness visit, we will check their teeth and gums for signs of dental disease. Once we examine your pet’s teeth and gums, we will devise a dental health plan to meet your pet’s individual dental needs. For most pets, a dental exam and cleaning are needed every one to two years to maintain a healthy and pain-free smile. At-home dental care in between visits and cleanings are equally as important, and we will give you educational resources and dental products such as toothbrushes and dental treats and toys to keep your pet’s teeth cleaner at home.
